P. Pain lower abdomen which use to occur every 10-15 days, then it started occurring daily, now it occurs daily almost constantly.
Also suffering from indigestion, cannot digest food

P. During childhood i was very shy. Was very fearful. Was slow.

Dr. What was the situation that affected u the most??
p. When father died. Without him didn’t knew how to handle situations as i had very low confidence.
Dr. What was the feeling inside?
p. I use to go breathless when ever i use to think about him ( trembling voice when speaking about this situation). Feel a sense of anxiety within, felt suffocated.
Dr. What else?
p. Mother died of cancer of uterus. It was very painful death. There was a sense of pressure within my chest. All I remember that I was cold, then I fainted.

Dr. What dreams do you get?
p. There was a grave near our house, whenever we use to pass that grave i use to get frightened. Still i get dreams of it and i get frightened in dream.
Dr. How do u experience that fear within you?
p. It was very fearful situation, there is some sought of pressure within chest, sense of coldness in chest, feel heaviness and i have to exert myself in order to breathe.
Dr. Any fears?
p. Fear of dark, fear of ghosts.
Dr. What is the feeling in the fear? How u experience that fear within you?
p. In dark places, as suddenly light goes i just cant breathe, i get anxious, there is sensation of coldness within chest.
Dr. What are the thing you are sensitive to?
p. If there is any death in anybody’s family.
Dr. What happens to you??
p. My body becomes numb and cold, feel anxiety, feels suffocative.

p. ( pause ) It’s like a ball....very silent....stuck in chest, then I feel suffocated..

p. Its like flow of water has been stuck in pipe due to some obstruction...flow has reduced because of this steam ball, then i cant breath, there is sense of pressure in chest, my body becomes numb.

p. Its like if a stone is stuck in pipe, water cannot flow freely through that pipe, then there is obstruction of flow if water....this is what happens to my chest... (At this point she draw an image on paper)
dr. Do you feel any distention of abdomen?
p. Yes I feel heaviness of abdomen with tightness.

We need to focus only on this phenomena: what is the patient’s perspective of all this...she explained it as:
Its like a ball, stuck in chest....which she connected to a pipe where flow of water is obstructed due to stone stuck in it, which she showed by drawing. With this everything got connected i.e. coldness chest, anxiety, faintness.
This was pure sensitivity which was not connected to any issues of complete incomplete, stability, development, me vs other, victim aggressor theme......so plant kingdom was selected.
Out of plants her main sensitivity revolves around stuck, obstruction, cannot flow freely.
So...Cruciferae family was decided.
Now which remedy??
She has a very strong symptom of coldness chest which was covered by Raphanus.
Raphanus was further confirmed by abdominal symptoms...
Her day to day experience was on fact level...so 30 potency was selected.
